• Participate and collaborate as members of a social and intellectual network of learners by learning how access and use Google Apps for Education.
• Organize personal knowledge in a way that can be called upon easily.
• Use technology and other information tools to organize and display knowledge and understanding in ways that others can view, use, and assess.

Activity 1 - Signing On

• Read Google Apps Information and FAQ letter - take this home to your parents!
• The web address for the EMS Google Apps domain is https://www.google.com/a/ems.d51schools.org - this address can be accessed from any computer with internet access.
• Your username is your first name (as registered with the district) and last 3 digits of your students ID - all lower caps, no spaces. Example: bob123
• Your password is d51student. When you first log on, you will be prompted to change your password. You must change your password to your school password.
• Wait for instructions for exploring the applications and services available to you in Google Apps for Education.
